Review of BIM Alzey 2025: Our impressions and highlights

Four people are standing behind a table at an education or careers fair. On the table are promotional materials such as a laptop, brochures and containers with small give-aways. Several banners can be seen in the background, including one that reads: 'THE FUTURE IS YOURS TO CREATE' as well as training courses such as e-commerce, wholesale and foreign trade management, warehouse management, marketing communication and office management.

BIM Alzey 2025 was a great success for us as an exhibitor. Over two days, we were able to connect with many motivated young talents, present our company, and showcase our training opportunities.

Engaging conversations with visitors

We especially enjoyed the direct exchanges with visitors at the Alzey fair. Many were interested in our apprenticeship positions, particularly in media design, which attracted the most attention. Students asked many questions and showed great interest in creative fields.

Our trainees reported that they were not only able to answer many questions but also benefited from the dialogue themselves. The conversations were lively, personal, and motivating for both sides.

A variety of career opportunities at GBC

In addition to media design, our commercial and technical apprenticeships also attracted interest. Although there was slightly less foot traffic here, we still had many valuable conversations with interested young people.

Our trade fair team emphasized how important it is to showcase lesser-known career paths. Young people often don’t realize the exciting opportunities that an apprenticeship in office management or logistics can offer. The fair was a great opportunity to make this variety visible.

Promotional products to experience at BIM Alzey 2025

Another highlight was the exchange about promotional products and marketing. Many wanted to know what terms like “giveaways” or “print products” really mean. Our trainees explained this vividly using examples from their daily work.

Once the conversations became more tangible, interest grew even more. These practical insights helped make the topics more relatable and sparked enthusiasm.

Our conclusion on BIM Alzey 2025

BIM Alzey 2025 was a valuable event, both for us as exhibitors and for the many young people seeking information about their future careers. We were able to present our company authentically and have many exciting conversations.

We look back positively on the fair and look forward to giving further insights into our work at future events—and, of course, to receiving many applications for our open apprenticeship positions.
