Bosch recognizes top performance from its suppliers:

Global Brand
Concepts
GmbH (GBC)

receives the “Bosch Global Supplier Award” for the second time in a row

For a quarter of a century, GBC has undergone a remarkable transformation. What once began as a pure importer of promotional products from Asia has developed into a global service provider that handles the entire promotional product management with digital processes for corporations.

GBC is one of Bosch’s best suppliers worldwide and received the “Bosch Global Supplier Award” from the technology and service company. GBC received the award in the “Indirect Purchasing and Services” category. Of its approximately 35,000 suppliers, Bosch has honored 46 suppliers from 11 countries. This is the 18th time that the Bosch Group has recognized above-average performance by its suppliers in the manufacture or supply of raw materials, products or services – particularly in terms of quality, costs, sustainability and innovation.

Dr. Arne Flemming, Head of Supply Chain Management at Bosch:

“Supplier networks that promote competition and innovation are an important key to the resilience of companies and businesses. For Bosch, our award winners make a special contribution to this.”

About the “Bosch Global Supplier Award

Every two years, Bosch honors the best of its global suppliers with a “Bosch Global Supplier Award”. The technology and service company presents the award for above-average performance in the manufacture and supply of raw materials, products or services. The awards are based on various criteria in the categories of indirect purchasing and services as well as raw materials and components. Bosch has been honoring the top performance of its suppliers with this award, which is recognized in industry circles, since 1987.

About partnerships with suppliers at Bosch

For Bosch, suppliers are also development and innovation partners who contribute to the company’s competitiveness and sustainability goals. Bosch relies on long-term partnerships with suppliers in order to successfully pursue these projects together. Partners who are characterized by close cooperation can participate in the company’s strategies and development projects at an early stage and thus align themselves for the future. The partnership-based cooperation between suppliers and Bosch also strengthens resilience in global supply chains. At the same time, they form an important basis for a functioning economy.

Bosch maintains supplier relationships in around 60 countries. The company sources materials and services from a total of around 35,000 suppliers worldwide. The majority of the resources used in the supply chains are accounted for by the purchase of components – in most cases in the form of semi-finished products or finished parts. The purchasing spectrum also includes, for example, raw materials, merchandise, software, services and operating resources. In 2022, the value of the Bosch Group’s purchasing volume was around 50 billion euros.
